Hell-Born - Topic In scarlet and death

The most recent release under the DEAD FACTORY name was the debut album over a decade ago. In the meantime, two collaborative releases with MOAN have come out, although the tracks I authored were already several years old by the time of their release.

I am currently working on a mini-album, which will run for approximately 22–24 minutes and consist of three tracks. I am now in the final stage of production and will be sharing updates on the progress.

The new release will include material partially familiar from live performances, in slightly reworked forms, as well as one track created last year. It was originally intended for one of the collaborative releases with MOAN, but was ultimately not used there, so we could focus on our own music. This track will appear on the upcoming mini-album.

The track titles, overall title, and cover art are still being finalized.

For years I have been recording field material while exploring industrial sites and capturing environmental sounds. These recordings form the foundation of DEAD FACTORY — they are cut, processed, mixed, and transformed into new sonic structures. Over time, however, it became clear to me that the raw source recordings possess their own distinct character and strength. They are immersive, hypnotic, and compelling enough to exist on their own.

This realization led me to begin releasing field recordings as standalone works — both smaller and more extensive releases — on Bandcamp. The first publication is now available and serves as a document of a specific place, moment in time, and its industrial soundscape.
