Khyber Pakhtunkhwa witnessed an unprecedented surge in tourism in 2023, with a staggering 16 million visitors exploring various picturesque destinations throughout the year. This milestone sets a new record for tourist influx in the region

The comprehensive data was collected under the oversight of the World Bank-assisted Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Integrated Tourism Development Project - KITE Tourist Facilitation Hub 1422.

From January 01 to December 26, 2023, a remarkable total of 16,988,946 tourists explored the various districts of the province. Notably, the number of foreign tourists visiting Khyber Pakhtunkhwa reached 4554, underscoring the province’s increasing global recognition as a travel destination
