Ahmed Bakhsh Barani Balochistan 📍
Transforming Lives Through Livelihood Support

Under the Sehlarz 2030 initiative, Welthungerhilfe (WHH) and IDEA Pakistan, with support from European Commission EU partners, launched a "cash assistance intervention" in District Nasirabad, Balochistan, covering Union Councils Kobashi (East & West) and Pagabirod.

One of the beneficiaries, Abdul Latif, utilized the financial support to establish a community pharmacy in his village Ahmed Bakhsh Barani

This initiative has not only strengthened his livelihood but also addressed a critical gap in access to basic healthcare services" for the local community.

The pharmacy is now serving patients suffering from common illnesses such as:
Typhoid (due to unsafe drinking water)
Mosquito-borne diseases
Seasonal health issues
Diabities

Abdul Latif, with prior medical training, is actively supporting the community by ensuring access to essential medicines and basic care.

📍 In regions where communities migrate seasonally due to economic challenges, such interventions play a vital role in building resilience and long-term stability.
