🐄 تھرپارکر گائے 🐄

یہ نسل بھی پاکستان کی دیسی نسلوں میں سے ایک ہے اس کا آبائی تعلق سندھ کے صحرائے تھرپارکر سے ہے۔ انتہائی اعلٰی اوصاف کی مالک اس نسل کو انڈیا والوں نے بہت اہمیت دی اور اسکی بریڈ امپروومنٹ کرکے 25 کلو روزانہ دودھ کی پیداوار تک لے گئے ہیں۔ باہر کی دنیا میں یہ انڈیا کی صفِ اول کی نسلوں میں سے ایک مانی جاتی ہے۔
پاکستان میں ساہیوال، ریڈ سندھی اور چولستانی کی طرح یہ نسل بھی ہماری عدم توجہ کا شکار ہے اگرچہ ابھی بھی سندھ کے کچھ علاقوں میں ملتی ہے لیکن کافی حد تک کنکریج اور ریڈ سندھی کے ساتھ مکس ہوگئی ہے اور مناسب دیکھ بھال نہ ہونے کی وجہ سے اچھی پیداوار نہیں دے رہی۔

Weldon Jahan Zaib Sand

Meet Jahanzeb Sand who is a determined and hardworking young man hailing from the beautiful valleys of Tharparkar and the mountains of Karoonjhar. Born on March 25, 1997, he received his early education at Army Public School, Nagarparkar, and later pursued his higher secondary education at Government Degree College, Mithi. He went on to complete his BS in Zoology from the University of Sindh.

Through his dedication and passion, he successfully secured a commission as a Lecturer in Zoology in the Sindh College Education Department, becoming the first science teacher at Government Degree College, Nagarparkar.

This remarkable achievement is not only a personal milestone but also a beacon of hope and inspiration for the youth of the region. With his knowledge, character, and commitment, Jahanzeb Sand stands as a role model for the young generation, striving to spread the light of education in the underprivileged region of Tharparkar.

Ranaram Bishnoi is an environmentalist of Ekalkhori village near Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. He initiated planting trees in the desert and dry area near his village. He planted over 27,000 trees in 25 bigha land with a large earthen pitcher single-handedly. He is known as ahhu "tree-man" by the people of the area.
