The index is flying high and closed above 92k level first time in the history of Pakistan Stock Exchange. Volumes and values both improved from the last session. Pak rupee closed slightly down by 0.02% against the US dollar today.

It is highly observed that inflation has declined faster than expected and has reached close to its medium term target range in the month of October. Although, the MPC also observed that inflation pressures are subsiding due to a decline in food inflation, favourable global trends in oil and absence of anticipation of adjustments in the gas prices. Furthermore, a seasoned professional Mr. Farrukh H. Sabzwari has been appointed as CEO of the Pakistan Stock Exchange for the next three years. Moreover, the US presidential race will either make Kamala Harris the first woman president in the country’s history or Donald Trump a comeback that sends shock waves around the world.
