Ruby on Rails Developer/Team Lead

Job Description
We are looking for a Ruby on Rails developer responsible for managing the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be development of all server-side logic, definition and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front-end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.

Responsibilities
• Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Ruby code
• Design robust, scalable and secure features
• Contribute in all phases of the development cycle
• Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring and code standards)
• Integration of data storage solutions (may include databases, key-value stores, blob stores, etc.)
• Integration of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server side logic
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
• Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
• Manage Team and helping them to achieve deadlines and task management

Skills
• 5 - 7 years’ experience in web devlopment
• Experience with Ruby on Rails, along with other common libraries such as RSpec and Resque
• Good understanding of the syntax of Ruby and its nuances
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Good understanding of server-side templating languages (such as Liquid, Slim, etc depending on your technology stack)
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (such as Sass, based on project requirements)
• Basic understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiarity with concepts of MVC, Mocking, ORM, and RESTful
• A knack for writing clean, readable Ruby code
• Ability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Able to create database schemas that represent and support business processes
• Able to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN)
• Familiarity with development aiding tools (such as Bower, Bundler, Rake, etc)
• Familiarity with continuous integration

Job Brief:
The Marketing Intern will be responsible for assisting the organization in the development and implementation of its marketing, business development, and public relations plans. This will be accomplished through developing, maintaining and expanding marketing channels, Email, Calling potential clients and follow ups.

Responsibilities
• Identify all local influence clients such as (photographers, studios, companies) to determine referral sources
• Assist with business development and marketing strategy
• May assist with performing client assessment; coordinate with the office staff to ensure client starts in a timely manner
• Assist with visits and/or arranging meetings for senior marketing members.
• Utilizes monthly marketing and public relations calendar to coordinate activity with national focus
• Assist with customizing and then disseminating press releases
• Generating Leads & arrange meetings for senior marketing team
• Attend trade shows, conferences, networking events representing to promote our products.
• Network with others in the industry to develop new business opportunities.
• Assist in coordinating various marketing methods including, direct mail, print ads, calling clients, networking, internet, social media, and develop new methods of marketing

Requirements
• Must be a student doing BBA/MBA or any other relevant degree.
• Must have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize in a changing environment
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and follow- up skills
• Proactive problem prevention and issue resolution leadership ability
• Leadership potential
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and Outlook required
• Ability to learn other software programs
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
