The Barbican really was a dream come true….from the early days of this project, Lahore 10 years ago, when it was just Ali, Zohaib and Vicky…to playing stages all over the world with this expanded collective of incredible musicians from all over the world!

We have decided to add another London show, before Dhani and Zohaib head back to Lahore, this coming Monday 13th October, £10 tickets, link in bio. We were in the studio this week so have some new music to share!

Jaubi began back in 2013 when Vicky and Zohaib would jam at Ali’s house in Lahore, Pakistan.

The first time the 3 of them played together was captured on this mobile phone recording with just a simple backing drum loop. This later evolved into “A War With My Ego”, which became the first song Jaubi ever recorded in a proper studio once Dhani joined the group.

Crazy to think we’ve gone from a bedroom jam session in Lahore to performing at The Barbican in London next week more than a decade later.
