6th January, Saturday marked a momentous occasion for Naeemian Squad as we unveiled the first of our four impactful documentaries,
"The Life of Legend: Dr. Naeemi's Unyielding Struggle for Peace,"
produced in collaboration with Young Cities and Hive Pakistan. The screening, held on January 6th, 2024, was an enlightening experience, shedding light on the remarkable life of Dr. Sarfraz Naeemi, a Pakistani legend tragically lost to a bomb blast in his office.
The event drew over 140 participants from diverse backgrounds, creating a rich tapestry of perspectives. Notably, individuals from various religious seminaries, representing different sects, came together for this powerful evening. We were honored to have Dr. Khalid Mehmood, the Voice Chancellor of Punjab University, as our chief guest. The event also saw the presence of distinguished figures such as Mr. Arslan Frooq from Such TV, Dr. Arshad Abasi from Punjab University, Mr. Shahid Rehmat (CEO of Young Development Forum), Mr. Aftab Waheed (CEO of Women of Pakistan), Dr. Raghib Naeemi from the Council of Islamic Ideology Pakistan, Molana Afzal Ali (Principal of Jamia Usmania), and Mr. Ayaz Noor from Dunya TV, contributing to the depth of the occasion.
This evening was not just about screening a documentary; it was a celebration of a legendary figure and an opportunity to foster meaningful conversations across diverse communities. We express our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who attended, making it a truly memorable event. Stay tuned as Naeemian Squad continues its journey, sharing stories that inspire and unite us all!
