CSC Empowerment & Inclusion Programme

This week, micro-credit loan disbursement sessions were conducted in the recently extended CEIP ambit; Area Nine's respective branches, Mian Channu and Khanewal for enhancing financial inclusion.

Last week, the solar loan facility under the PMIC-KFW Renewable Energy Initiative (PRIME), was extended across the CEIP branches of D.G Khan. The inauguration sessions were conducted by Ms. Noreen Faisal ( RRE, Prime Project CEIP) and Harness representatives in order to provide sustainable and cheaper basic electric products to a widening clientele base.

This initiative for renewable energy aims to support the financing of quality Pico PV and Solar Home Systems for households in poor grid and off-grid locations, and now onwards also targeting the rural and peri-urban areas of D.G Khan in its ambit.

CEIP continues its pursuit of community empowerment, by providing access to renewable and clean energy, to stimulate economic activity, facilitate education and improve the living standards of low income households, and received positive feedback from clients of D.G Khan for follow up sessions of disbursement in the region.

After a positive feedback from the previous digitization session at head office, CEIP conducted another training workshop for its clients from Walton Branch, on the “Procedures of Setting Up a page, and a WhatsApp Business Account”, for successful, meaningful and essential business interaction.

The training session included specifications such as adding business catalogue to enhance the outlook of business, how to pin posts, hosting virtual events and targeting customers, as well as ways in which the business reach could be boosted.

In light of the rapidly evolving digital revolution in Pakistan, CEIP aims at moving forth with times, in creating awareness of the application of social media and its changing outlook to all its clients.
