DHCP automatically IP assign karta hai—manual config ki zaroorat kam hoti.
Issue: DHCP fail = “169.254.x.x” (APIPA) aa sakta hai.
Aapne kabhi APIPA dekha?

If reply comes back → connection OK.
No reply → packet loss, firewall, route issue, or device down.
Ping = reachability + latency check.
Traceroute = path me kaun kaun se hops aa rahe hain.
Agar ping fail ho, traceroute se blockage point milta hai.

Tip: Issue diagnose karte waqt layer-by-layer socho (Physical → Application).
