Some experiences leave you with more than just memories, they reshape how you think about impact, innovation, and what’s possible when the right people come together. The AWS & Deloitte Social Entrepreneur Accelerator was one of those experiences.

Across three days of conversations on AI, education, systems thinking, and scaling social impact, each session offered a different lens on what it takes to build solutions that last, made possible by the efforts of the AWS and Deloitte teams.

Led by Jose Gordon, AWS Impact Leader, the program brought together meaningful dialogue and practical learning designed to connect ideas with real-world application.

We are grateful to Josh Lee, Partner at Monitor Deloitte for sharing guidance on business strategy and structured approaches to scaling impact.

A special thank you to Aanya Niaz, Global Education & AI Leader at AWS, whose passion for impact, energy, and commitment to expanding access through innovation and education was truly inspiring.

Nicole Kelm, Social Impact Leader at Deloitte, brought thoughtful perspectives on collaboration, collective learning, and creating sustainable long-term change.

And Kat Esser, Global Social Impact Innovation + Strategy Leader at Amazon was the heart behind it all, creating space for connection, learning, and meaningful dialogue that made this experience so memorable. A reminder shared that stood out: “Write your purpose in pen and your path in pencil”.

The session led by Ramiz Taqi, Manager Partnership Programs at AWS, From Idea to Impact, made the journey from concept to ex*****on feel tangible and grounded in reality.

It was also a privilege to exchange ideas with Kristi Rhoades, Aisha A., and Hammad S., whose perspectives on technology, partnerships, social responsibility, and scalable solutions added so much depth to the experience.

Special thanks to Cody Benally, Molly Schuld and many others for the seamless coordination and support that helped make the three days run smoothly.

Grateful to Amazon Web Services (AWS), Deloitte, and everyone who made this journey meaningful and we look forward to a partnership for impact.
