Samsung has already unleashed two of its most lethal smartphones of the year, the Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge. Now it has another major flagship under its sleeves, the Galaxy Note 5, that is expected to launch as soon as late July.

Last year, the Galaxy Note 4 was released in September. But according to Who Wired, Samsung has been developing the latest Note 5 faster so it can release it earlier than September.

The iPhone 6 Plus is the first phablet from the company and it has received an overwhelmingly positive reception from critics. Since the iPhone 6 Plus is a serious rival to the Galaxy Note 5, the South Korean tech giant is planning to roll out the Galaxy Note 5 in July and not in September.

The regular edition of the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to feature a 5.89-inch of Super AMOLED display with support for Ultra HD resolution of 2160 x 3840 pixels. The dual-edge curved display version called the Note 5 Edge is rumored to house a 5.78-inch display.

Since both the handsets are expected to support Ultra HD resolution, the devices may support over 700 ppi of pixel density. The UHD screens will offer the best viewing experience while watching 4K content. It will also be able to deliver awesome virtual reality experience.

The Galaxy Note 5 is expected to feature the same Exynos 7422 chipset that is available on the Galaxy S6. Since the device will be equipped with an advanced display and chipset, it is likely to come with better graphics solutions.

The thickness of the Galaxy Note 5 is expected to be 7.9 mm. Compared to the Galaxy Note 4, the successor device is going to be 0.6 mm slimmer. Speculation indicated that it will be packed with a huge battery of 4,100 mAh capacity.

The Who Wired report says the Galaxy Note 5 prototype has been revealed to the leading of telecom firms of the world and the preorders of the Note 5 are expected to begin soon.
