September 6th of 1965 is celebrated in Pakistan as a Defence Day to remember the sacrifices made by Pakistani soldiers in defending its borders. The day when Indian troops joined the international border to launch an attack on Pakistani Punjab, in a riposte to Pakistan's Operation Grand Slam targeting Jammu. At the same time, it is officially commemorated as an unprovoked blow attack by India, which the Pakistan Army repulsed despite its smaller size and fewer armaments.
May Pakistan's defense remains unshakable forever. The nation salutes wholeheartedly to the martyrs of Pakistan.
We owe it to our brave armed forces, blood, sweat, and tears, for standing their ground and ensuring the safety of millions.
May this country live long, prosper, and be free!
