Math Mania

Who hates the long drawn out "ugh" they hear from their children whenever the word math is mentioned? Why is it that our children are unable to see math as a riddle that works out the brain but rather an incomprehensible task that has to be completed and then forgotten. For all parents out there who are struggling with their kids understanding math concepts, we shall suggest a tip:

1. Identify the concept that your child is struggling with the most and for five days a week give them two problem sums related to that topic!

Why problem sums? It is an automatic application of math to the real world and allows children to identify the math concepts that would be applicable. Problem sums can be engaging in story format and allow for a deeper learning experience.
