Fortune smiled upon Karachi fishermen as they unintentionally caught 700 rare Sawa fish, valued at approximately Rs2 billion, near Keti Bandar.

In the nets of fishermen near Keti Bandar, a substantial catch of highly prized and scarce "Sawa" fish, worth millions of rupees, was discovered.

Kamal Shah, spokesperson for the Coastal Media Center, reported a significant haul of "Sawa" fish in the nets just yesterday, totaling 700 specimens across three boats.

Majid Khan, the technical advisor of WWF, explained that Sawa fish congregate for spawning between March and April, noting the looming risk of their extinction due to extensive hunting.
