CLSU BOR approves AP1 entry level for CPAs

The CLSU Board of Regents recently approved through BOR Resolution No. 21-2024 the upgraded entry level for faculty members in the Department of Accountany from Instructor I (Salary Grade 12) to Assistant Professor I (Salary Grade 15).

The Board, seating as the highest governing body of the university, recognizes the importance of recruiting more Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) in the roster of faculty members in the department after consideration of the competitive salary rates of public accountants in the country.

This monumental achievement has been
made possible through the esteemed leadership of the University President, Dr. Evaristo A. Abella.

In the same resolution, the entry level for veterinarians and civil engineers were also revised to Assistant Professor I.
