On this 1st day of May, the 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐨𝐝 𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐚 - 𝐑𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭 honors all workers. Whether big or small, every contribution creates a meaningful impact on the economy and on the lives of everyone.

A person’s worth is not measured by how big or small their job is. Any honest livelihood is something to be proud of, as it is where we draw our daily needs for ourselves and our families. Though our roles may differ, we share one common goal: to live with dignity and to provide for our loved ones.

So never be ashamed of your job, for it is a symbol of your perseverance, determination, and strength in the face of life’s challenges.

Today, let us recognize and thank every worker who continues to strive, endure, and never give up. You are the true backbone of our society and economy.

Yesterday, 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝟭𝟑, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the 𝗣𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗮𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗴 𝗟𝘂𝗻𝗴𝘀𝗼𝗱 𝗻𝗴 𝗩𝗮𝗹𝗲𝗻𝘇𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗮 – 𝗥𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗰𝗼𝘂𝘁 celebrated the 𝟭𝘀𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝘆 of 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗠𝗨𝗥𝗔𝗟𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 together with different academic and non-academic organizations.

The PLV Rover Scout prepared fun and exciting games, including the 𝗧𝗘𝗞𝗞𝗘𝗡 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗚𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗗 with a cute twist, along with their very own 𝗪𝗛𝗜𝗠𝗦𝗬 𝗪𝗜𝗥𝗘 collection which brought enjoyment to many 𝗣𝗟𝗩𝗶𝗮𝗻𝘀.

What a great start, here's to more fun-filled days ahead! ✨

Yesterday, 𝐀𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐥 𝟏𝟑, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔. The 𝐏𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐬𝐚𝐧 𝐧𝐠 𝐋𝐮𝐧𝐠𝐬𝐨𝐝 𝐧𝐠 𝐕𝐚𝐥𝐞𝐧𝐳𝐮𝐞𝐥𝐚 - 𝐑𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐬 had the distinct honor of leading the Flag Ceremony during the opening of Intramurals.

A proud moment of patriotism and discipline to start our week of sports and camaraderie.

Today, we stand in solemn remembrance of the heroes who stood their ground during the Fall of Bataan. 𝗔𝗿𝗮𝘄 𝗻𝗴 𝗞𝗮𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗮𝗻 is more than just a date on the calendar; it is a living testament to the indomitable spirit, courage, and resilience of the Filipino people. On this April 9, 2026, we honor the brave soldiers who endured unimaginable hardship in defense of freedom, dignity, and our homeland

Their stand during 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱 𝗪𝗮𝗿 𝗜𝗜, particularly in the face of overwhelming odds, reminds us that heroism is not measured by victory alone, but by the unwavering will to fight for what is just and right. Even in defeat, their courage ignited a flame of hope that would continue to burn in the hearts of future generations. The sacrifices they made, including those who suffered through the Bataan Death March, serve as a powerful reminder of the true cost of freedom.

As we move forward into an ever-changing world, we carry the torch of their legacy within us. Their stories are not relics of the past, but guiding lights for the present and future. In our daily lives through acts of integrity, compassion, and unity. We honor their memory.

Let us also look to the younger generation, entrusting them with the responsibility of preserving this legacy. May they grow to understand that the peace we enjoy today was earned through sacrifice, and that our sovereignty must be protected not only in times of war, but in moments of peace, through vigilance, patriotism, and collective responsibility.
