WELDER

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine material requirements and proper welding techniques.
- Set up components for welding according to specifications.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal, or overhead).
- Inspect welded surfaces and structures to discover flaws.
- Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
- Operate angle grinders to prepare the parts that must be welded.
- Collaborate with other welders, fabricators, and team members to complete projects.
- Follow and enforce strict safety regulations such as wearing heat-resistant gloves, protective masks, and safety shoes.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Welder
- Proficient in various welding techniques (TIG, MIG, arc, and gas welding).
- Experience with different types of metal (steel, aluminum, etc.).
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
- Knowledge of safety standards and willingness to use protective clothing (face shield, gloves, etc.).
- Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication skills and a team player.
- Certification from a recognized welding school or relevant certification is preferred.
