Choose Jesus

Sometimes, there are things in our lives that we want to happen—dreams and plans we want to achieve—but we aren't certain if we will succeed or reach them, nor are we sure exactly when our desires will come to fruition.

​Sometimes, we fail and the things we want don't happen, not because we didn’t try or put in the work, but because we did those things relying only on our own strength and methods—missing the fact that we truly cannot do or accomplish everything on our own.

​That is why this verse, brother/sister, serves as a reminder that we cannot achieve every desire or plan through our own strength alone. Instead, there are things for which only God knows the right time and opportunity, and He alone has the power to bring them to pass in our lives.
