FCAMP Story: God Brings the Willing 💛

Being a chaperone for 7 days is not easy… kapoy, walay signal, limited communication—but in all of these, God was working.

I invited as many as I could. We submitted 18 names for registration… but 9 ra gyud ang naka padayon at first.

Some parents chose to step back tungod sa kabalaka… naapektohan pud sa mga posts sa silingan. And I understand them—because I am also a parent.

Gusto nako ma-experience ni sa akong mga anak. Bahalag walay duty for 7 days, basta naa lang ko to guide them, to monitor them, and to be there as their chaperone.

Because I believe moments like this matter.

I held on to my prayer:
“Lord, bring those who are truly willing.”

And God answered in the most beautiful way.

Naay 3 ka mga bata nga willing gyud muapil—gihatud gyud sila sa ilang parents just to be part of the camp.

From 9… nahimong 12.

And I realized—God’s ways are always better.

Mas dali ra gyud sila maguide… because they came with willing hearts.

Dili diay quantity ang importante, kundi ang willingness sa muapil.

To all parents, pasensya na gyud if I wasn’t able to post updates or videos. Wala gyud signal ang lugar, and our phones were only used for important contact.

But please know this—

Your kids are not just okay… they are growing.

They are enjoying, learning, building courage, and forming new friendships. More than that, they are learning to trust God—even in moments of fear, even sa rope course.

And as a mom, seeing my own child step out in faith… makes every sacrifice worth it. 🥹
