On 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟯𝟬, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, Recto GSP carried out a successful clean-up drive 𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒃𝒚 𝑪𝒅𝒕. 𝑮𝑺 𝑰𝒓𝒆𝒏𝒆 𝑴𝒂𝒆 𝑻. 𝑨𝒓𝒕𝒊𝒍𝒍𝒂𝒈𝒂, demonstrating strong teamwork, responsibility, and commitment to keeping the community clean and orderly. ✨🌿

The activity became a meaningful display of service and unity among the Girl Scouts. Together, they gathered waste, cleaned their surroundings, and raised environmental awareness within the community.🌱🍃

Beyond maintaining cleanliness, the clean-up drive also shows discipline, and the true spirit of scouting showing that through effective leadership and cooperation, positive change can be achieved. ✨🌿

This 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐖𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐧’𝐬 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐡, we celebrate the women who built the legacy of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines, empowering generations of Filipino girls. 🌸

𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐟𝐚 𝐋𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐄𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐝𝐚 (Founder, 1940–1945) courageously established the Girl Scouts to teach leadership and service, even during wartime. She is recognized as the "Florence Nightingale" of the Philippines for her social work, campaigns for women's suffrage, and role in forming the Girl Scouts of the Philippines.

𝐏𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐫 𝐇𝐢𝐝𝐚𝐥𝐠𝐨 𝐋𝐢𝐦 (President, 1957–1974) served as National President of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines from 1957 to 1974. She expanded programs nationwide, strengthening Girl Scouting’s impact and advocating for women’s leadership and civic engagement.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐘𝐮𝐥𝐨 𝐕𝐚𝐫𝐠𝐚𝐬 (President, 1974–1986) was National President of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines from 1974 to 1986. She modernized programs, elevated the organization to the global stage, and championed empowerment for Filipino girls through leadership and service.

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐚 𝐒. 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐨 (President, 1986–1990) served as National President of the Girl Scouts of the Philippines from 1986 to 1990. She reinforced the values of leadership, community service, and personal development, leaving a lasting legacy for generations of Girl Scouts.

𝐀𝐠𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐁𝐚𝐝𝐞𝐧-𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐥 (Founder of Girl Guides, 1910) inspired a worldwide sisterhood, paving the way for Filipino girls to lead and serve. She was the younger sister of Robert Baden-Powell, 1st Baron Baden-Powell, and was most noted for her work in establishing the Girl Guide movement as a female counterpart to her older brother's Scouting Movement..

Their courage, vision, and dedication continue to inspire every Girl Scout to lead with heart, serve with purpose, and shape a better tomorrow.
