𝐈𝐍 𝐏𝐇𝐎𝐓𝐎𝐒: Tarlac State University ROTC Unit, 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝟐 𝐓𝐡𝐢𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐡 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐚𝐲 on 𝟐𝟔 𝐀𝐏𝐑𝐈𝐋 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at the TSU Lucinda Campus.

The Reserve Officers Training Corps, under the leadership of 𝐋𝐓𝐂 𝐅𝐑𝐄𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐆𝐀𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆 𝐌𝐈 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐄𝐒), Commandant, and with the supervision of 𝟑𝟎𝟐𝐂𝐃𝐂 𝐏𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐨𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥, successfully conducted the Thirteenth Training Day.

During the morning session, cadets actively participated in 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬, reinforcing discipline, coordination, and precision in executing commands and formations. The activity was guided by 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐓𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐁 𝐄𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 (𝐆𝐌𝐀), ensuring proper formation and adherence to military standards.

The training also included the 𝐀𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐯𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫𝐬, facilitated by 𝟐𝐋𝐓 𝐑𝐈𝐙𝐙𝐀 𝐑 𝐆𝐑𝐀𝐍𝐀𝐃𝐎𝐙𝐄𝐍 𝐀𝐆𝐒 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐄𝐒), Assistant Commandant, with the assistance of 𝐓𝐒𝐠 𝐄𝐥𝐦𝐞𝐫 𝐁 𝐒𝐞𝐛𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐧 (𝐈𝐧𝐟) 𝐏𝐀, Senior Tactical NCO. This activity further enhanced the cadets understanding of ceremonial protocols and military bearing.

A comprehensive classroom lecture on 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞, and 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 of 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟒𝟓, was conducted by 𝐒𝐠𝐭 𝐕𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐞 𝐇 𝐃𝐞 𝐆𝐮𝐳𝐦𝐚𝐧 (𝐒𝐂) 𝐏𝐀, Admin NCO. In addition, 𝐏𝐯𝐭 𝐀𝐥𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐭 𝐓 𝐎𝐛𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐨 𝐏𝐀 (𝐑𝐞𝐬), 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐮𝐚𝐭𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐲 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 (𝐆𝐌𝐀), facilitated the lecture on the 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐥𝐞, and 𝐍𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝟏𝟔 𝐑𝐢𝐟𝐥𝐞. These sessions highlighted the importance of proper firearm familiarization, handling, and maintenance.

A 𝐌𝐞𝐝𝐢𝐜 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐞𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 was also conducted, equipping cadets with essential first-aid knowledge and life-saving skills applicable during emergencies in field training.

In the afternoon session, cadets returned to the field to once again perform 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐥𝐥𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐂𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐢𝐞𝐬, reinforcing the commands, movements, and formations practiced earlier in the day.

Overall, the training successfully enhanced the cadets proficiency in drills and ceremonies, weapon familiarization, and medical preparedness continuing to shape disciplined cadets and capable future leaders.
