As part of its typhoon preparedness activities, the Bureau of Fire Protection Tarlac City Fire Station conducted a comprehensive inventory of all emergency response equipment to ensure operational readiness before the expected impact of the typhoon. Life jackets, rescue ropes, throw bags, portable water pumps, chainsaws, generators, communication equipment, first aid kits, stretchers, lighting equipment, and other rescue tools were inspected to verify their completeness, functionality, and serviceability.

PUBLIC ADVISORY

In view of the effects of Tropical Cyclone “Inday” and the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), the Bureau of Fire Protection Region 3 is now under Heightened Alert Status (Code Blue) to ensure continuous readiness in responding to emergencies across Central Luzon.

The public is encouraged to stay informed through official weather advisories, take necessary precautions, and immediately report fire incidents and other emergencies through the Unified 911 Emergency Hotline or the nearest BFP Fire Station.

15 July 2026.

Safety Tip of the Day
During an emergency, confusion can cost valuable time. Clearly marked evacuation routes and designated evacuation areas help residents move quickly and safely to the right location.

Communities can improve emergency preparedness by:

✅ Installing visible evacuation route signs
✅ Clearly identifying evacuation areas
✅ Keeping signs unobstructed and easy to read
✅ Regularly checking that signages remain in good condition

Prepared communities don't wait for emergencies to happen—they prepare for them in advance.

The BFP Tarlac City Fire Station spearheaded by 𝐅𝐒𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐁𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀𝐑𝐃 𝐓 𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐄𝐓𝐄, 𝐃𝐒𝐂 Acting Regional Director, under the supervision of 𝐅𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐓 𝐗𝐄𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐋 𝐏 𝐓𝐀𝐌𝐀𝐘𝐎, Acting Provincial Fire Marshal, OPFM Tarlac and under the leadership of 𝐅𝐂𝐈𝐍𝐒𝐏 𝐉𝐀𝐘𝐂𝐄 𝐉𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐐 𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐀𝐑𝐎𝐒𝐎, City Fire Marshal, successfully conducted a Fire Safety Seminar and Fire Drill at BDO, F. Tañedo Branch, Tarlac City, Tarlac and at Bounty Fresh Tangerine Farm, Brgy. San Jose, Tarlac City Tarlac. The activity aimed to enhance the awareness and preparedness of employees in preventing and responding to fire emergencies.

During the seminar, BFP personnel discussed essential fire safety topics, including fire prevention measures, the proper use of fire extinguishers, emergency evacuation procedures, and the importance of maintaining a safe workplace. Participants were also given practical guidance on how to react effectively during fire incidents.

Through this initiative, the Bureau of Fire Protection continues to strengthen its commitment to promoting fire safety awareness and fostering a culture of preparedness within the community.
