๐๐ฝ๐ฟ๐ถ๐น ๐ญ๐ญ, ๐ฎ๐ฌ๐ฎ๐ฒ โ Supreme Student Council President Brixter Lasco Millo released a statement in response to circulating issues within the student body, addressing internal conflicts, accountability concerns, and various allegations.
His statement focused on financial transparency concerns against SSC Vice President Rafael Jay Valix and Senator on Finance Kyla Reyes, claiming that several financial reports and liquidation documents from the SSCโs income-generating projects (IGP) and other university events remain unsubmitted to this day, raising concerns regarding the accountability of key officials tasked to address the issue.
Millo also argued that leadership and credibility are undermined when officials demand responsibility from others but fail to uphold it themselves, citing repeated incidents involving a specific member and the alleged lack of accountability and misconduct despite prior complaints.
Despite these concerns, Millo noted that no statement or apology has been issued by the alleged member regarding the matter.
Meanwhile, in a separate statement, VP Valix clarified his removal from the Search Committee for the Presidency, asserting that the decision lacked due process and proper consultation.
He also raised concerns about transparency within the council, calling on leadership to uphold accountability and proper procedure in decision-making.
In response, Millo addressed allegations of power-tripping raised in Valixโs Facebook post, pointing instead to documented instances that, according to him, justified the administrative decision.
However, as of writing, both parties have exchanged opposing claims, with no official resolution yet released by the council.
The statement also addresses a privacy controversy involving leaked screenshots from a private group chat, which cite unauthorized distribution of private communications and raise concerns over potential privacy violations.
While Millo acknowledged his participation and took responsibility for his remarks, the situation reflects ongoing miscommunication between parties, resulting in tensions within the student body.
