She Said Go For It

As I frequented the outdoors, I noticed the kids and the youths more often. I’m ecstatic to see them being what they should be—carefree, playful, and full of energy.

I’m glad to see the kids being... kids.

I’m happy to see that the tradition of flying kites is still there. I’m glad that they are not glued to screens, trapped in a cyber world that could be cruel. It’s nice to see children creating their own entertainment and not being entertained by a virtual world that can give them unrealistic expectations of how they should live life.

And while this might be just a phase for them, I think the memories etched will be precious. Something they can look back on in the future, something that can bring a smile to their faces.

It’s nice to see kids being kids... as they should be.

A quick musing because... I turned down sweets??

I never knew I was capable of saying no to dessert! But I guess the day has come!

And I wasn’t even jealous of my peers’ food. For someone who always gets her drink’s sugar level at normal/regular, I didn’t expect my mind to even wonder whether they added sugar or milk to the fruit drinks/shakes! If they didn’t, I might have ordered one, but I was too lazy to ask—and I was already full.

They urged me to order something, but I didn’t. I was eating as healthily as I could, and I didn’t want to jeopardize my gut reset or whatever.

So far, I’m loving the lifestyle I’m creating for myself. It wasn’t voluntary at first, but I’ve come to love it.
