Recognition carries a deeper meaning when it comes from a fellow Special Forces Trooper.

“This is where I started,” said Maj. Gen. Ramon Zagala.

During the visit of Special Forces Regiment (Airborne) Commander Brigadier General Eros James Uri to the Home of the Jungle Fighters, 2nd Infantry (Jungle Fighter) Division Commander Major General Ramon Zagala was conferred the "Special Forces Trooper" statuette, a symbol of the Special Forces Regiment's respect and appreciation for exemplary leadership, commitment, and service.

Beyond a symbol of recognition, it reflects the bond between two fighting forces whose soldiers may operate in different environments, yet are united by the same values of sacrifice, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to the Filipino people.
