โ€‹During today's session, another group of 30 employees learned the homemade corned pork processing. This hands on workshop officially brings the successful 2day training series to a close, empowering a total of 60 participants over the two days.

โ€‹Facilitated by the HRMO, headed by Arlene Firmeza and the CCLDO, headed by Caroline Tabianan, this final batch traded office work for entrepreneurial skills designed to turn a simple recipe into a backyard goldmine.

โ€‹The initiative aims to give city government workers practical, sustainable skills to augment their household income and spark backyard entrepreneurship.

With their training now complete, these new culinary pros are officially ready to bring home the bacon.

This landmark event marked a historic double first for both the host city and the entire region.

The activity commenced with an informative press conference at Simplicio Lizares Elementary School in Brgy. Matab-ang, followed by a caravan to Hope GK Sibol Elementary School in Brgy. Cabatangan for the grand launching ceremony.

Fostering sustainability and community cooperation, the program opened with a ceremonial plot planting activity. The venue also featured innovative exhibit booths from various Talisay secondary schools, putting the creativity, local products and academic ingenuity of Junior and Senior High School learners and educators in Talisay on full display.

The launch was further enlivened by uplifting performances from student groups and stakeholders, alongside presentations highlighting key initiatives from the Division's functional offices.

The historic day culminated in the official declaration of the Regional Brigada Eskwela 2026 by Regional Director Dr. Ramir Uytico.

A ceremonial turnover of resources and a partner recognition ceremony officially concluded the program, signaling the synchronized start of bayanihan efforts across all public schools in the region.
