Tridium Academy - SMART School
Tridium Academy's curriculum is a blend of the competency-based curriculum of DEPED and the Progressive System that is anchored on the constructivist approach in education.
In the Tridium Academy's curriculum the constructivist teacher provides tools such as the competencies of DEPED to help students construct knowledge. The DEPED competencies act as the springboard for inquiry-based learning activities that are the main features of the constructivist approach. Always guided by the teacher, students construct their knowledge actively rather than just mechanically ingesting knowledge from the teacher or the textbook.
