We're looking for an adept and goal-driven Software Developer for one of our international clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Taking over the development of an existing application which is currently in the testing and refining stage (90% complete for launch)
• Developing a functioning app (with database architecture, connectors with the various APIs we need to speak with, authentication, etc.) that is built in C # / .NET hosted on Azure. The app takes data from e-commerce platforms, processes it, and posts it to bookkeeping software (Xero and/or Quickbooks).
• Working on incrementally adding the functionality to do analytics on the ecommerce platform data as well as bringing in data from other sources
• Taking charge in back-end testing and refinement, as well as front-end development
• Aiding in internal deployment for the accounting to replace Excel-based processes
• Assisting in the development of D2C offering

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a related program
• Minimum of two (2) years software development experience (required)
• Proficiency in C # and .NET (required)
• Knowledge of MVC5 and Razor framework (required)
• Experience with Azure is an advantage
• Excellent English communication skills
• High degree of initiative, with the ability to understand the end-goal and work to achieve that goal with minimal supervision
• Willing to work at a schedule with minimal overlap with London time and to work flexible hours, when necessary
• Willing to do a project-based engagement, subject to change
• If circumstances require a work from home arrangement – must have a laptop or desktop and stable internet connection
