The Reserve Officers’ Training Corps (ROTC) Unit of North Eastern Mindanao State University–Tagbina Campus successfully conducted the Tactical Inspection 2026 and ROTC Graduation Ceremony at the NEMSU Ground and Gymnasium on May 23.

The activity highlighted the cadets’ discipline, preparedness, and leadership as they underwent a tactical inspection led by LTC NOEL A FRIAS (OS) PA, Chairperson, Guest of Honor, and Speaker. The inspection aimed to assess the unit’s operational readiness, military bearing, and overall performance in training and administration.

The program also featured the formal presentation of graduating cadets, the declaration of graduates, and the awarding of certificates in recognition of their successful completion of ROTC training.

The event concluded with the mass singing of “Awit Kawal,” reflecting unity, dedication, and commitment to upholding the values instilled through the ROTC program.

‎The North Eastern Mindanao State University–Tagbina Campus ROTC Unit successfully held its Battalion Formation on May 9, 2026, at the NEMSU Tagbina. The activity promoted unity, cooperation, discipline, and a stronger sense of responsibility among cadets through company drills and military training exercises.
‎
Cadets actively participated in discussions and demonstrations on Basic Life Support (BLS), rifle assembly and disassembly, and company drills, providing them with additional knowledge, coordination, and practical military skills. The activity also inspired cadets to become more disciplined, prepared, and committed individuals who are ready to serve the community and the nation with honor and dedication.

‎The North Eastern Mindanao State University–Tagbina Campus ROTC Unit successfully held its Battalion Formation on May 2, 2026, at the NEMSU Tagbina Gymnasium. The activity strengthened discipline, coordination, and unity among cadets while reinforcing their readiness and responsibility as future leaders.
‎
‎Subject matter expertise from Alpha Company, 67IB, 10ID, PA shared valuable insights with the cadets. Sgt Peter Paul M Ferrando (Inf) PA discussed survival techniques, highlighting practical skills and mental preparedness during emergencies. Pvt Kim A Alejandria (Inf) PA tackled the West Philippine Sea, emphasizing national concerns and the Army’s role in disaster management and humanitarian response. 2LT JEROME E MEJIA (SC) PA conducted weapons training, focusing on safety, proper handling, and responsibility.

‎The formation reaffirmed the ROTC mission of developing disciplined, informed, and service‑oriented individuals ready to contribute to national security and community service.

The event began with the active support of the Tagbina ROTC Unit, which ensured smooth traffic management and provided medical assistance throughout the opening activities.

‎The ROTC community once again stood as a symbol of service, safety, and duty-- discipline in every step, pride in every salute. Their presence highlighted the values of responsibility and unity that define both the intramurals and the campus spirit.

‎To instill knowledge among ROTC cadets, Sgt Jeemark Naceel Alojado PA (Res), conducted a session on Military Customs and Traditions.
‎
‎The session focused on essential military courtesies, proper conduct, and time-honored traditions, guiding cadets in practicing discipline, respect, and professionalism. These foundational principles help shape cadets into responsible and confident leaders in both training and service.
