Over the years, due to people's ignorance, cattcalling has become normalized" and isn't a big deal anymore to all of us. Also, the sad thing is, all of us now regardless of sexual orientation and gender identity, are becoming perpetrators and do it to anyone.

The effects and trauma brought by these on the victims takes a lot of time for them to pull through and get better again.

Catcalling or street harassment, misconceptualized as a non-offensive compliment, should be taken seriously and be stopped.
