Flora De Ykalinga "Queen of Flowers" It symbolizes staying strong, Bloom, New Change and righteous in the face of hardship in the Province of KALINGA. Flora was the Roman goddess of flowers, often associated with the coming of spring and the fertility of the land.

A Datu Lapu-lapu inspired costume made by a Kalinga Designer RODEL PASION FABROS of FABROS COUTURE COLLECTION

This Masterpiece The combination of Kalinga Tribe and LAPU-LAPU inspired that Both Symbolize STRONG, PEACE AND UNITY.

Each Weaving Pattern That Used in this Costume that Having a Deep Meaningful.

Lapu-Lapu, together with the men of Mactan, fought Magellan and the change he wanted to bring with the Spanish flag. Under his leadership, Magellan and his men were successfully defeated. Today, Lapu-Lapu is regarded as the first national hero of the Philippines.

Title: "MANNALON"

Description:
A masterpiece that represents a contemporary farmer-warrior.
This costume is designed by Simeon Cayetano to honor the "Mannalon", an Ilocano word which means farmer, who are the tireless and restless quiet heroes in my community of Asingan, Pangasinan.

The Baskets of a grain of rice is a grain of sweat from a long and arduous preparation dedicated to feed the community and also showcasing the bountiful harvest and the fortitude of the citizens in my town.

At my his is a sculpted carabao head, which stands for strength and power.

In order to highlight the tenacious nature of the farmers, a carabao's cart carriage is positioned behind my shoulder. Resilience in the face of adversity and the will to accomplish more difficult goals.

Unity is emphasized in a hand-painted cape with an image of his family. A farm-couple who raised their eight children through their sweat and hardwork - now are all professionals in their own fields.

I chose this masterpiece to give honor to our silent heroes—the Mannalons—and to be the modern version of a great farmer.

The Headpiece that known THE BIG BANGA that located at CARAA GROUND. In essence, the banga symbolizes the strength, grace, and enduring spirit of the Kalinga people, especially the women—carrying culture, life, and tradition forward with balance and pride. For the male and female that showing our pride Tradition, culture and Belief of YKALINGA.

the Filipiniana sleeve symbolizes the voice of Kalinga reaching beyond the mountains—honoring tradition while embracing the future, telling the world: we are indigenous, we are Filipino, and we are proud. And also showing one of our pride tourist Attraction that located at TINGLAYAN, KALINGA and The hometown of APO WHANG-OD which is the SLEEPING BEUTY MOUNTAIN.

And for The Pride full Body Tattoo (Batok) that showing Different Symbolizes and Meanings and our pride Mambabatok in Kalinga APO WHANG OD. In essence, Kalinga tattoos symbolize honor, courage, protection, and unbreakable connection to ancestry—a sacred art that carries the soul of the Kalinga people from past to future.
