For its third year implementation, Tabuk City National High School (TCNHS) stakeholders came together to donate blood at Tabuk City National High School, Nov. 24.

Employees of TCNHS, parents, alumni, senior high school students, and even the Bureau of Fire personnel donated at least 33 bags of 450ml blood including 17 Type O, nine Type B, and 6 Type A.

Donnah Lyn Vallejo, the school nurse and the lead of the event, hopes that this event will strengthen the awareness raising on the importance of blood donations.

According to Maโ€™am Trisha Padcayan, one of the donors, โ€œdonating blood has been satisfying knowing that it cleanses my body and it allows me to save lives.โ€

This event will replenish the schools blood bank as stated in the partnership between the school and the Philippine Red Cross.
