A M3.5 earthquake was felt in the area of Rialto, California late Tuesday afternoon.

A M7.3 earthquake struck south of Alaska's Aleutian Islands on Wednesday afternoon, briefly triggering a tsunami warning.

Though a small tsunami was generated, all warnings and advisories have been cancelled.

There is only a slight possibility of damage on land from this earthquake.

More than a dozen aftershocks have followed, and the USGS is forecasting hundreds of them over the next week.
