The LGU Sogod, through the Municipal Health Office, joined the simultaneous observance of the 2026 International AIDS Candlelight Memorial held at the Sogod Municipal Gymnasium.

Under the leadership of 𝐇𝐨𝐧. 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝐓𝐚𝐧, the activity served as a symbol of remembrance, hope, and solidarity for individuals and families affected by HIV/AIDS.

Together, let us continue promoting 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐬, and a 𝐒𝐭𝐢𝐠𝐦𝐚-𝐅𝐫𝐞𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲.

The Local Government Unit of Sogod, through the Municipal Agricultural Services Office, in partnership with the Provincial Government of Southern Leyte and the Philippine Coconut Authority (PCA), distributed 𝐇𝐲𝐛𝐫𝐢𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐒𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 to 𝐅𝐢𝐟𝐭𝐲-𝐒𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐧 (𝟓𝟕) 𝐑𝐞𝐠𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬 from 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐋𝐏 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐌𝐚𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐬, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐧 𝐉𝐮𝐚𝐧 on 𝐌𝐚𝐲 𝟐𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔 at 𝐁𝐫𝐠𝐲. 𝐋𝐚 𝐏𝐮𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐦𝐚 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐩𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐧, 𝐒𝐨𝐠𝐨𝐝, 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐋𝐞𝐲𝐭𝐞.

Present during the activity were 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐢𝐧𝐨 𝐒. 𝐓𝐚𝐧, 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐃𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐆. 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐨, 𝐕𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐨𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐚 𝐄𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐚 𝐆. 𝐌𝐞𝐫𝐜𝐚𝐝𝐨, representatives from the provincial and municipal government, PCA officials, and Barangay Officials.

• 𝐅𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐫𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤: ₱15 himuon na lang ₱12 (Blue Motorcycle)
• 𝐑𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐛𝐚𝐜𝐤 sa plete sa Yellow, White, Red, ug Green nga routes
• 𝐏𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧 ang 20% 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐜𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐭 para sa Students, PWD, ug Senior Citizens
• 𝐊𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐧 𝐢-𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐲 ang official tariff rates sa tanan drivers ug operators
• 𝐈-𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧 sa STMG ang bisan unsang abusadong lihok

Ang LGU Sogod ubos sa leadership ni 𝐌𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐫 𝐒𝐡𝐞𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐝 𝐓𝐚𝐧, VM Golo, ug SB Members padayon sa pagpaningkamot nga mabalanse ang kaayohan sa mga drayber, operators, ug pasahero alang sa mas tarong ug hapsay nga serbisyo sa publiko.
