They call it easy, yet they didn't see the part where I almost quit.

They didn't see how many times I sat there, exhausted, holding back tears because I didn't know if I still had anything left to give. They didn't see the moments I wanted to disappear, the silent breakdowns I had to hide, or the way I kept showing up even when everything in me was begging me to stop. What they see now looks simple, but they never felt the weight of becoming someone who had to keep going while falling apart.

So when they call it easy, I just smile. Because I know the truth. I know how many times I almost gave up, and how I chose to stay anyway. And if I'm being honest, I didn't get here because it was easy. I got here because I refused to give up on myself, even on the days I almost did.
