INTERNATIONAL DAY AGAINST DRUG ABUSE AND ILLICIT TRAFFICKING (IDADAIT) 2026
Personnel of the Siayan Municipal Fire Station, headed by SFO2 Elmer C. Alabata, Acting Municipal Fire Marshal, participated in the observance of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking (IDADAIT) 2026, held at the Municipal Hall of LGU Siayan, Zamboanga del Norte. The activity was spearheaded by the Philippine National Police (PNP) – Siayan.
The event was attended by LGU Siayan employees led by Municipal Mayor Hon. Alberto J. Bongcawel, along with personnel from the Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (MDRRMO) – Siayan and representatives from various local government offices.
The observance highlighted the importance of strengthening community awareness, promoting a drug-free lifestyle, and fostering collaboration among government agencies and stakeholders in preventing drug abuse and combating illicit trafficking.
