Festivals are a big thing in my kids’ school. They look forward to each and every single one. We schedule our travels and engagements around the Festival dates to ensure they don’t miss even a single. I remember crying myself silly the very first time I watched them do Michaelmas. I hold my breath specially watching them do the vertical rope climb. Every year they go higher and higher in the climb. Each year, each child only go as high as what they are comfortable with. So many layers of learnings in this festival. Each and every kid have their own key takeaways. But my most favorite part is always - “I did it mommy! I was so scared. I can feel myself trembling. But I did it!” Their victories and their excitement and their discoveries about themselves - their fears, their limits, facing their fears, realizing their inner strengths. Each activity has layers ans layers of life lessons. On days I am doubting myself and my decisions - I look at how happy they are in their school - and I knew there’s at least one good decision I made
