Our Early Literacy Journey begins with the right resources and the right environment.

This year, our Kindergartners are using research-based reading materials trusted by educators in the United States to strengthen phonics, vocabulary, reading fluency, and comprehension. These carefully selected resources provide a structured and engaging pathway that helps children build strong literacy skills from the very beginning.

Just as important, we believe that small class sizes make a big difference.
With fewer students in each Kindergarten class, our teachers can give every child the attention they deserve—closely monitoring progress, providing individualized academic support, addressing learning gaps early, and celebrating each milestone along the way.

Every child learns differently, and a smaller classroom allows us to meet their unique learning needs with care and intention.

🍃 This is how we learn at Babybits Playschool Belair. 💚

Today, our little explorers discovered that nature is full of surprises! Instead of using ready-made paints and brushes, we made our own natural dye paints by crushing leaves, flowers, and other nature treasures with a mortar and pestle. We squeezed, mashed, mixed, and experimented to see the beautiful colors hidden all around us.

The fun didn't stop there—we even created our own paintbrushes using natural materials! 🌿

This sensory experience wasn't about creating a perfect picture. It was about engaging every sense, strengthening little hands, encouraging curiosity, and giving children the freedom to explore, investigate, and create.

As they squeezed, mixed, splashed, and painted, our preschoolers were building fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, creativity, and a deeper appreciation for the natural world—all through joyful, hands-on play.
