The Seventh Heaven beyond the Setting Star
Karla Ligon
In this universe filled with the unforeseen and uncertain, would you take one big leap of faith to become happy? Would you be willing to accept a fall from grace to look for bliss? Like how the clouds miss the sun during a downpour, happiness is a necessity, portraying a great role in someone else’s life. It ignites the fire within you, creating a little spark which may eventually lead to something more, even worth fighting for. One is the state of being at peace. Tranquility is the threshold of joy and contentment. It unfolds diversed emotions you never thought you are capable of feeling. It is as if you are wholeheartedly waiting for the sun to rise again, like it always does, no matter how melodramatic and melancholic the flow of sentiments are once it sets. Because deep in your heart, you always know how it will forthwith give you a glimmer of hope. Blessedness, therefore is not something acquirable. It is deep- rooted within you, wanting to be perceived and waiting to be felt.
The conspiration of various celestial bodies formed a galaxy. Each one, with its fate written, serves its purpose. Little by little, even the smallest star from the array is looking for its own jollity. Despite this, the state of being happy will only be achieved once you allow yourself to experience its enchanting euphorias. Once you allow yourself to somehow dance in the rain, while waiting for it to stop and take away the pain. Happiness is a formation of interconnected emotions— one that may momentarily yet firmly result to beatitudes. It makes you feel the utmost contentment you could ever muster, no matter how little the reasons are. It is about accepting and loving yourself wholeheartedly, through the good and bad days. Along with it comes every little thing which pushes you to go through another day. It’s about how you can see the world, not always as it is, but as perhaps it could be. Because by then, you fully appreciate what and who truly matters the most to you and what truly makes you who you are.
Finding joy amidst the sorrow is undoubtedly one of the hardest battles we face in this life, aside from the obstacles we try to overcome. Even so, the setting sun has its own way of rising again by- and- by, even the day after tomorrow. Make smile your weapon to remain steadfast and unfazed amidst every hardship, and prove life wrong. No one in this world has the right to question your perspective, nor be able to precisely limn how your decisions in this lifetime will lead you to every philanthropy life offers. Stumble, roll, and fall, but be sure to get back up again and continue your race. Along the journey, bliss will come your way. Eventually, time will offer you a great deal. When that moment arrives, have the courage to fight for it, instead of dealing with misery once it had slipped through your fingers.
What lies within your heart is a breathtaking profoundness of felicity and serenity. Through His grace from above, even in the midst of uncertainty, sooner or later, you will eventually find the afterglow of the sunset— your own epitome of undeniable happiness. Because no matter how the pouring night never ceased to be stronger, always remember that the days in the sun will never falter.

Fear
Fear is what i feel right now
When you've face it, it would make you bow
A world full of uncertainties
False trophies and deities
In this big coliseum of madness
When will you get some rest
Fear of losing what is right here,
That later it would be nowhere near
Fear of getting lost.
In every inhale, for every drop, for everything grossed
Fear of the things that you might hear
That would make you chop your ears
Fear of losing YOURSELF,
Damage you've dealt
Fear of being with them
'Cause you know the present so well, you know it is a crooked system.
