Since I want to share more southie spots for creatives…. HI! And welcome to part 1 of South Creative Spaces, where we discover places and people that hold space for art to come alive right here in the south of Metro Manila 🥹🌸🫶 For this video, we highlight @almscafe - a space that puts a spotlight on coffee art - especially the works of Rens Tuzon and Ms Esang Ocampo, two Filipino artists who specialize in this unique medium. Last Arts Month, I was thrilled to get to try this - a very affordable way to create visual works! As someone who is just rediscovering painting, and is slowly learning that I enjoy the process, it was fun to discover that you could create works actually using coffee, and not just something you drink to give you energy to create! Hehe. Coffee Art is the advocacy of sir @renstuzon, his way to blend his passion for painting and promoting the Philippine coffee industry.
