Elderly Filipino Week 2023 was celebrated on October 1–7. This annual celebration highlights the contributions of senior citizens to the progress of the country. The week-long commemoration also promotes senior citizens benefits and rights.

National Commission of Senior Citizens Chairman Atty. Franklin Quijano shares their plans and hopes for Filipino senior citizens. He also highlights the ability of elderly Filipinos and the advantages of allowing them to continuously contribute to boosting the Philippine economy even after retirement.
