Have you read that article about how weddings in the Philippines are becoming too performative?
When Paul and Vanessa reached out to our team, their request was clear.
No posing
No acting
No pretending
They just wanted us to document what unfolds on the day, may it be perfect or seemingly imperfect.
All the jitters, the soft laughs, the nerves, but most especially the interactions.
They chose to do things their own way: the chillest, most natural version of a wedding that felt true to them.
No first looks, no drama. (They even shared one prep room!)
So we let everything unfold as it was:
unscripted, genuine, and real.
In all honesty, being performative doesn't mean slow-motion power intro, editorial shots, or doing slow blinks and turns at the camera.
As long as you do what you're comfortable doing,
you're not "performing."
You're just being you.
