✨ 185 Years of Legacy: For almost 2 centuries, this home has stood through colonial rules, revolutions, world wars, pandemics, earthquakes, and generations of change: remaining a constant witness to history. ✨

Today marks a remarkable milestone: 185 years since the completion of the Gosioco Ancestral House on May 5, 1841.

From humble beginnings in the late 1700s, our story has grown into a lasting symbol of heritage in Santa Rita, Pampanga. What began as a young immigrant’s vision evolved into generations of leadership, enterprise, and service.

Completed on May 5, 1841 by Don Domingo Gosioco (吳小哥) and Doña Pascuala Gosioco y Amio, Salaria stands as the oldest surviving ancestral house in Santa Rita. Its name is derived from the Spanish word cereria, meaning “candle-making,” a nod to the estate’s industrious origins. Today, it remains a proud landmark of Kapampangan heritage and a testament to the enduring Gosioco legacy.

Through its halls lived distinguished figures across generations, including former mayors Don Tomas Gosioco (served 1873–1874) and Don Magno Gosioco (served 1904–1907), municipal council member Don Pablo Gosioco (1915); Padre Narciso Gosioco, namesake of Calle P.N. Gosioco; Doña Narcisa Gosioco, founder of Santa Rita Institute (now Santa Rita College of Pampanga); Rev. Fr. Conrado Gosioco; Dr. Leon Gosioco; Dr. Vicente Gosioco; Dr. Antoine Gosioco; and notable business figures such as Arsenio Gosioco of Botica Antigua de Trozo in Manila, Lourdes Gosioco, and Jose Gosioco.

For 185 years, this home has stood not merely as a structure, but as a witness to history: preserving stories of family, culture, and progress. Today, we continue that journey, honoring the past while building the future.

Here’s to preserving our roots and carrying the Gosioco legacy forward for generations to come.
