The Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office extends its deepest condolences to the family of Sir Froilan "Cyclone" Medianero, Team Leader - ALERTO Team Charlie.

He was diagnosed to have Hyperthyroidism and is under medication for his condition, and had his last duty was yesterday, June 14, 2021. He was found in his room at his residence this afternoon without pulse, and despite our best efforts to revive him, our efforts have been too late.

Sir froilan has been fully vaccinated and had no symptoms of Covid19 for the past week, nor has he been found to have any direct exposure to a covid19 case.

He is an example of a humble, but steadfast and enduring, team leader, worthy of emulation by all.

"humility is the mother of all virtues."

We deeply mourn for this loss, as Sir Froilan has been an example of great dedication, loyalty, and perseverance, to the pursuit of service to Santa Barbara.

This office dearly misses your presence, for you have been a brother, a fellow warrior, a frontliner of Santa Barbara. We shall carry on your legacy, watch over us brother, 'til we meet again.
