In Observance of Holy Week 2026

In accordance with Proclamation No. 1006, the Land Transportation Office (LTO) announces that all its offices will be closed to the public on April 2, 2026 (Maundy Thursday) and April 3, 2026 (Good Friday), as these are declared regular holidays.

Operations will resume on April 6, 2026 (Monday).

We encourage the public to plan their transactions accordingly and take this time to observe the holy week with reverence.

Ito po ay MALING IMPORMASYON (FAKE NEWS) na kumakalat ngayon na ang Land Transportation Office (LTO) ay nagtaas ng singil sa pagpaparehistro ng mga sasakyan ng halos 100% nang walang paunang abiso, at sinabay pa umano ito sa pagtaas ng presyo ng gasolina.

Hindi po totoo ang ganitong pahayag. Patuloy po ang LTO na nagsisikap na gawing mas abot-kaya ang mga serbisyo nito lalo na sa kasalukuyang krisis pang-ekonomiya na kinakaharap ng ating bansa. Ang mga bayad sa rehistro at iba pang transaksyon ng LTO ay batay sa mga alituntunin at batas na naaprubahan ng gobyerno, at walang biglaan o hindi inanunsyong pagtaas ng mga rate.

Layunin po ng LTO na maghatid ng mahusay at abot-kayang serbisyo sa lahat ng mamamayan. Hinihikayat po namin ang lahat na huwag magkalat o maniwala agad sa mga hindi napapatunayang balita. Para sa tumpak at opisyal na impormasyon tungkol sa mga bayarin at serbisyo ng LTO, mangyaring bisitahin lamang ang aming opisyal na website, mga social media page, o mga awtorisadong LTO district office at extension centers sa inyong lugar.

Malacañang Declares 20 March 2026 a Regular Holiday in Observance of Eid’l Fitr

Malacañang today announced that Friday, 20 March 2026, has been declared a regular holiday throughout the country in observance of Eid’l Fitr.

The announcement was made as President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. joined by members of the Muslim community and leaders from across the country at the Grand Iftar in Malacañang, reaffirming the government’s respect for the traditions and contributions of Muslim Filipinos.

The declaration recognizes the significance of Eid’l Fitr, which marks the end of the holy month of Ramadan, a period devoted to prayer, reflection, and fasting.

The Palace extends its greetings to the Muslim community in the Philippines and around the world as they prepare to celebrate Eid’l Fitr with their families and communities.
