ANNOUNCEMENT | According to Memorandum Circular No. 09, s. 2025, Classes in All Levels (Public and Private Schools) and work in Government Offices are suspended due to heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

This also follows the authority granted by Malacañan Palace to DILG Philippines Secretary and NDRRMC Vice Chairperson for Disaster Preparedness Jonvic Remulla to declare work and class suspensions during inclement weather and disasters, based on NDRRMC recommendations.

The DILG also clarified that the DepEd Philippines and LGUs may still declare suspensions depending on local conditions.

ANNOUNCEMENT | According to Memorandum Circular No. 09, s. 2025, classes in all levels (public and private) and work in government offices are suspended due to heavy rainfall brought by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat). However, offices whose functions involve the delivery of basic and health services, preparedness/response to disasters and calamities, and/or the performance of other vital services shall continue with their operations under usual working arrangements and render necessary services.
