How to Eat Myoga.🍜🥢

Because heat diminishes its delicate flavor, myoga is best eaten raw or gently pickled.Raw: Finely shred or mince the buds to use as a garnish (yakumi) on cold noodles, chilled tofu, or sashimi.

🫚Salads: Toss thin slices into green salads or mixed sunomono (cucumber) salads.Pickled: Pickle whole or halved buds in sweet vinegar (tsukemono) to serve alongside grilled fish or sushi.

🫚Cooked: You can quickly toss myoga into miso soup just before serving, or lightly batter and deep-fry it as tempura.
