DINAGAT ISLANDS, Philippines — Strengthening the shared commitment to quality basic education and sustainable regional development, Dinagat Islands Provincial Governor Nilo P. Demerey, Jr. paid a courtesy visit to newly installed DepEd Caraga Regional Director Allan G. Farnazo at the DepEd Caraga Regional Office on Tuesday, July 7.

The visit served as an opportunity to formally welcome Director Farnazo to his new post while reaffirming the longstanding partnership between the Provincial Government of Dinagat Islands and the Department of Education in advancing accessible, inclusive, and learner-centered education.

During the meeting, Governor Demerey and Director Farnazo exchanged insights on key priorities that directly impact the province, including the continued implementation of classroom construction projects in Dinagat Islands, peace and security initiatives, and Caraga's sustained economic development. They also discussed the region's recent declaration as a State of Stable Internal Peace and Security (SIPS), recognizing its significance in creating safer and more conducive learning environments for learners and school communities.

For the Schools Division of Dinagat Islands, the courtesy visit reflects the enduring collaboration among DepEd, the Provincial Government, and regional leadership in ensuring that every Dinagatnon learner benefits from responsive educational programs and strengthened institutional support.

The Schools Division of Dinagat Islands remains grateful for the Provincial Government's unwavering commitment to education under the leadership of Governor Demerey and looks forward to sustaining its partnership with DepEd Caraga under Regional Director Farnazo as they work together toward delivering quality, resilient, and future-ready basic education for every learner.

Usa na usab ka mahinungdanong kalampusan alang sa sektor sa panglawas sa Lalawigan sa Dinagat Islands ang pagdawat sa duha (2) ka yunit sa Patient Transport Vehicle (PTV) gikan sa Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) pinaagi sa Medical Transport Vehicle Donation Program (MTVDP).

Ang Dinagat Islands usa sa mga lalawigan sa Mindanao nga napili isip benepisyaryo sa maong programa, nga nagtumong sa pagpalig-on sa serbisyo sa panglawas pinaagi sa paghatag og luwas ug kasaligan nga transportasyon alang sa mga pasyente, ilabina sa mga komunidad nga layo sa mga medical facilities.

Nagpasalamat ang Provincial Government of Dinagat Islands, ubos sa pagpangulo ni Governor Nilo P.
