Today, the Unified Basic Education Library proudly participated in the “GJC READY: Earthquake Preparedness” program, a vital initiative aimed at equipping our students with the knowledge and confidence to stay safe during earthquakes.
Through engaging drills, orientations, and safety practices, our learners explored essential protocols such as “Duck, Cover, and Hold,” identified evacuation routes and safe assembly areas, and deepened their understanding of how to respond calmly and responsibly in times of emergency.

Preparedness saves lives. By learning safety tips, emergency hotlines, and evacuation procedures, we empower our students to protect themselves and others. Schools play a crucial role in building a culture of alertness, teamwork, and resilience.
